September

September was a long month as I worked every Friday and had short week-ends. I'm working on plan to prevent that from happening next year. The primary change is that I need to learn to say NO. The good part of September was that I didn't leave until afternoon on Mondays, so Mira and Griffin took turns spending the night on Sundays and I took them to school on Monday morning. Mira started soccer on Saturday mornings. That has been entertaining and the mornings have been a beautiful hour or so to be outside.

Fun events included a Saturday afternoon at World's of Fun, a trip to Wayside Waifs for a new kitten for the Smith household, a 90 birthday reception for Benjamin's grandmother, a baby shower for Bobbi Jo, and and the birth of baby Alex on September 27. I also had my yard aerated and re-seeded and have watered non-stop on the week-ends. I can't wait to see the water bill, but my yard is starting to be green.

That brings us to October.
